Melanie asked us to post up a photo from class monday when we did a test on how the pennies looked with our design. I can't wait until an entire dress is covered in pennies! It's going to look so awesome down the runway. :) Comments anyone?
It's funny- in class I liked the dark center and the bright outside- but in this pic I like it the other way better, it seems easier to read... I think you should go with the suggestions from Emily and Melanie and do the opposite way on the front and back. How are you going to adhere them and to what material?
Yeah I think we are going to take their suggestion and do one side dark and light, and the other light in the dark. We're testing different materials right now but we are going to hot glue the pennies onto the fabric. We found that if you have a large enough dot of hot glue the penny will press it all into the fiber and hold it well.
