Blog 8 | Sarah and Nina Background Slides
This background is the Northern lights that will be used for our hand rendered dress background. The shapes that the lights make relate to the bottom "shredded" part of our dress along with the colors. The lights are breaking out of the darkness just like how our woman is being liberated through the dress.
This background is a city scape for our Arial dress. It has clean lines and is in black and white like our dress will be. It is symmetrical just like our dress as well

For this dress we want to use an image that is a scattered arrangement of letters like the image above. If this idea is approved I will take a picture of my own letters to avoid copyright issues.

Penny Dress Concept: For this slide we wanted to show our concept in a simple and straight to the point way. This was to drive home the point that our government produces the penny at a more expensive cost that it is actually worth. I thought this image was fitting because it shows a pile of pennies sitting there all alone, just like they would sit in someones penny jar collecting dust.
I wish I had her legs dress: We chose to create a simple slide that took our idea about envy/jealousy a bit further. We wanted to include thoughts that many woman have on a day to day basis that we decided not to include on the dress, because it was looking to busy and difficult to read from the runway. We hope that the slide does not distract, but ads to our concept of taking internal thoughts and bringing them to the surface.
